Solving The Problem

I think the way to solve the problem of food waste is setting a system up to document and send food to those who need it through some sort of delivery system. It can be a sort of food truck, or an organization of students who take food to shelters or students on campus who are in need of food.

  1. Hello Chloe,
I believe that incorporating a food truck of some sort would help tremendously. You’re thinking ahead and preparing for the possibility of your service becoming a reality. If Armark gave the okay for donations of food, the next issue would be transporting the food but you have already considered and proposed a solution to this issue. I admire your thought process and believe that you can make this happen.

  2. Hello Chloe, I actually worked in the food industry for a bit of high school and have seen such a large amount of food that could feed 2 entire families, get thrown away and wasted. I think that your idea is a practical and level-headed way to ease the lives of the less fortunate. A coordinated delivery system is a perfect way to distribute food to the less fortunate, and with a little fleshing out this opportunity could be an amazing idea.

  3. Hi Chloe,

A delivery system is a great idea on how to solve the issue you previously states. A delivery system will allow for all that wasted food at the end of the day to be delivered to someone who needs it. It seems like a win win for both parties. No food will go to waste and it will help those in need.
